Arc Wire Thermal Spray uses two wires, which are melted by an electric arc, the Arc Spray process is sometimes referred to as "twin wire arc spraying". The molten material is atomised by compressed air and propelled towards the substrate to be coated.   Arc Spray provides a fast and economical, thermal spray application where a wide range of metals and alloys are sprayed onto a component’s surface to either build up the depth of material which is then machined back to specification or used to provide a protective coating for a components original core material.
