Austchrome Brand Launch

The New Austchrome

Austchrome is heading into the future stronger than ever after a fresh new rebrand.

Facilities and CI Manager David Kahler, who’s been with Austchrome since 1995, said the rebrand encompasses the company’s core values of innovation, quality and the valuing its people.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time for us as a business, to move forward under a new brand identity that really reflects what we’re all about,” Mr Kahler said.

“We are a company that looks to the future, that innovates and that supports our people in producing the highest quality products and services.

“We’re committed to upskilling our people and adopting the latest technology and, in order for us to continue to grow and be successful, those things must go hand in hand.”

David Kahler said the company, which opened in Mackay with only 9 employees, has grown significantly and now employs around 120 locals and is busier than ever.

“It’s been remarkable to look back and see how far we’ve come as a business, not just in the number of people we now employ, but also our workshop space and our capabilities,” he said.

Craig Williamson – GM Reclamation & Engineering Solutions

“Our people are our brand, since the very beginning in 1994, we’ve instilled strong family values.

“Under our new banner, we hope to continue to continue instilling those values for many successful years to come.”

General Manager Craig Williamson said the brand launch had been met with excitement from the Austchrome staff.

“A fresh, modern look as well as a new website and social channels to showcase what we can do as a company has means our people can be really proud to stand behind the Austchrome brand,” Mr Williamson said.

The brand was launched internally last month by CEO Rob Freeman, who said that it’s about more than just a logo change.

“This has been an opportunity to self-reflect and understand where we are as a company and decide where we want to be in the future,” Mr Freeman said.

“We aim to continue investing in new technology and in our people. If we do that, the possibilities are limitless.”
